Designing my own fabric collections was always a big dream. But client projects were keeping me very busy and satisfied for many years. Early in 2020 I decided to finally start creating art again. I hadn’t been painting or drawing for what felt like a decade. I took out my grandfathers compass collection and started to draw the flower shapes again that I loved so much as a child. I started filling them with linework and it instantly spoke to me.
I already had good skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign working as a freelance designer for many years prior. So I created my first patterns with my own art. A whole new world opened and I finally designed my first collection.
This is a project that truely comes from my heart.
