I was always a dreamer – from early childhood on. I could sit there for hours drawing little creatures, flowers, landscapes from imagination. My grandfather was a precesion mechanic and he worked with all the beautiful manual tools that were so useful before we even heard of computers. When I visited my grandparents, he would always let me play with his sets of compasses. He’d show me how to draw ornaments with multiple circles overlapping. He passed away at the age of 103 in 2019 and obviously, I kept all his compasses. I started drawing those ornaments and flowers again and finally let my creativity and imagination flow again.
