A while back in Missouri, I bought this beautiful wool and ha crochet hook. I haven't done any crochet in many years and wanted to make something simple but useful. A twisted headband came together so quick and easy thanks to a YouTube tutorial by @_claudetta_
As the evenings are getting cooler, this comes in handy.
Now, I want to get more wool for a few more projects. Not that I needed another hobby 😅

Happy Columbus Day!
The temperature dropped significantly today after a few days of up to 93⁰f/34⁰c at Harry S Truman Reservoir in Missouri. We had a lovely spot right by the lake and enjoyed watching pelicans, vultures, eagles, herons, etc. Because of the heat, I didn't take the sewing machine out. Sitting in the shade with an embroidery project was great as well.
